💺 “Chair” Guard elevation to the back. - The “chair” position is an answer to the top player stepping over the leg in De La Riva. Creating this lock allows you to use both legs in conjunction to clamp and elevate the top player. The “elevation” isn’t so much about lifting the top player off the ground, but more about bringing their weight forward with the chair and pushing them over you and onto their hands. Your opponents weight is now posted on their arms, leaving their legs light and easy to control/pummel under. You can use this space to enter single leg X, X guard, do the @dc_deangelis “come up sweep”, or transition straight to the back. - @kingzkimonos - @monkeytape - @electrum_performance - @dcmouthguards - 🎶 again by wun two Uke: @matheusalarcaobjj
